Wine charms are small markers that attach to a wine glass so everyone at a party can tell their drink apart. They save you from washing twice as many glasses, and they save your guests from the awkward “wait, is this mine?” moment.

The main types of wine glass markers

Wire ring charms

The classic: a small metal hoop with a bead or trinket that loops around the stem. Pretty, but tiny. They’re easy to lose, hard to tell apart in low light, and the hoops can bend or scratch.

Suction-cup and static-cling markers

These stick to the bowl of the glass. They’re cheap and come in big packs, but they slide off wet glasses and don’t work well on textured glassware.

Glass marker pens

Write a name right on the glass, then wash it off. Great for big parties, less great when someone writes on your good crystal or the ink smudges.

Silicone slip-on charms

Soft silicone shapes with a slit or loop that slides onto the stem. They’re flexible, won’t scratch glass, can be rinsed and reused, and are big enough to identify at a glance. This is the category we make.

FAQ

Do wine charms work on stemless glasses?

Stem-style charms don’t, but rim-clip styles like our UFO charms do.

Are silicone wine charms reusable?

Yes. Rinse them with warm soapy water and they’re ready for the next party.

What’s a good hostess gift under $15?

A set of wine charms. It’s useful, it’s not another bottle, and it gets used every time they host. See our hostess gift guide.
